Where Will King James Decide To Take His Throne This Summer?

The Dubs have evolved into the NBA’s newest dynasty, and the difference the last two seasons has been Kevin Durant, just ask LeBron.

The Bay Area Boys tallied their third championship in four seasons with two former MVPs on their roster in Stephen Curry and KD. The latter of whom won this year’s Finals MVP.

These 2018 NBA Finals proved once again that not one man, or even two for that matter, can overcome the talent deficit that comes with matching up against the Warriors. Not even LeBron.

Despite his superhuman efforts that are impressive even for someone with as decorated of a resumé as the King, LeBron’s finals average of 34–8.5–10 on 53% shooting just weren’t enough against the star-studded Warriors.

The question has been asked all season since the Kyrie Irving trade occurred: Where will LeBron play out the rest of his career? From the moment the series ended in Cleveland, the free agency speculation frenzy that is LeBron-mania began all over NBA Twitter.

If there’s one thing that we as NBA fans learned watching this abysmal NBA Finals, it’s that LeBron needs another superstar or two alongside him if he wants to continue to compete for championships for the rest of his hall of fame career.

Below I will identify the teams that have a likely, or slim, shot at landing LeBron, and how he would fit in with each team. These teams are assembled in no particular order, because I don’t care what Vegas thinks.
