So I borrowed 10,000 for a new car through Ally and found out why my payment is so high despite the rate being in the 6% range. The guy I just spoke to claims that if I paid it all off right away I would be given a refund of the difference. Is this true? Is there a certain amount of time I have to pull out of the financing I signed at the dealer and get a loan somewhere else? 1 day ago — 3 days left to answer. Additional Details The loan is for 72 months so if I paid it off in two months, he made it seem like I would not have to pay the insurance for the other 70 months. You get what I mean? 1 day ago I think it is more warranty than insurance. I just signed on the 9th it is now the 12th. I don’t care about the monthly payments. But paying this much I should be done way sooner than 72 months. I have not received any of the loan docs in the mail yet. 23 hours ago So if it is warranty I can cancel right away? He said it was the only way I qualified for the loan. I don’t believe that since while i have little credit, I put 9,000 down. I have several people willing to cosign so if it would make it go away I am sure I could get new financing and pay this thing off. I still don’t have the loan documents to review. All I was shown was the monthly payments and I was too stupid to do the math. 23 hours ago I think the warranties were 72 month bumper to bumper and 36 month maintenance. He brings out a pre made warranty cancellation form. The only thing I thought about after was the fact that it said on it it might take 60–90 days. I just got a tax lien withdrawn which means there should be NO RECORD of it whatsoever on my credit report. I have a letter from the IRS proving that. Im pretty sure the lien is showing up on at least 2 of the bureaus of not all 3. I realize that IF i do nothing that the liens may be removed on their own. But that could take 30–90 days. Payday loan company made ten transactions using my debit card yesterday?
when i went to the cash machine yesterday i was unable to draw any money from my account, when i checked my balance it was 5. i had checked the balance 2 hours earlier and there was 130 in my account. i went into the bank to be told that ten transactions had been made via telephone and internet within 50 minutes to a payday loan company called tower capital. The bank have set up a fraud case as i did not authorise these transactions.
