If you want to visit the capital of Russia, you just need to go down into the crowded underground world of Moscow — in the metro. The Moscow metro is considered by right one of the most beautiful in the world. A lot of stations have been built, but not all of them are really beautiful.

The main feature of this station is, of course, bronze figures depicting Soviet people. Figures are installed on pedestals in the corners of pylons or arches of the station. This is 76 of them. The bronze figures are arranged in chronological order according to the history, from the events of October 1917 to December 1937. The interior of this station is decorated with elements of decoration, dedicated to the key topic of military stability and the struggle of the Soviet people during the Great Patriotic War. The ceiling of the station is decorated with delightful mosaics. It is interesting that initially they were intended for Paveletskaya station, but the war prevented the completion of this station. Therefore, they were installed here and are devoted to the hard, heroic work of Soviet people in the rear.

Be sure to pay attention and take pictures on the benches of Novokuznetskaya station. They are located in shallow recesses in the base of the pylons. Benches are unusual in their shape. Massive marble bench-sofas with high backs, which are decorated in the form of half-unfolded scrolls. And the console armrests of the benches are decorated with a beautiful carved pattern.

The interior of the station is decorated in the spirit of the theme — the triumph of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War. The scope of the spatial construction of the underground hall, the richness of the decorative decoration, the bright color and light framing, all this underscores the greatness of the victory of the Soviet people.

The yellow ceiling of the station is decorated with original mosaic inserts and elegant stucco molding. Also pay attention to the chandeliers. The hall is illuminated with massive multi-carved chandeliers, an original beautiful shape. Columns and floors are lined with light and crimson-red rare marble.

The design of this station is dedicated to Soviet Ukraine. One of the highlights of the station, this design solution, through which the architectural integrity of the station is achieved. The pylons, both the central hall and the side naves, are lined with special marble “kölga”. The color rhythm of the pylons is reinforced with red mari salieti, which is lined with a floor along the perimeter of the pylon.

Pay attention to the molded medallions, in which there are 24 frescoes depicting the working people of Soviet Ukraine. These are the “Architects”, “Mashinostroiteli”, “Labor shift”, “Athletes”, “Energy”, “Builders”, “Vegetable growers”, “Railwaymen” “Hleboroby”, “Livestock”, “Scientists-chemists”.

The station is special with an unusual design element — 32 spectacularly lit stained-glass windows. They are placed inside pylons and are fringed with gilded brass and steel. Such stained glass window on two on each pylon, they are located in the side of the hall and platform. A special highlight of these stained-glass windows is a bizarre combination of colored glasses, thanks to which similarities of fantastic colors, plants, stars and so on are formed.

Pay attention to what is inside the stained glass. In the upper part, small medallions are inserted, which depict genre scenes of a beautiful and peaceful peaceful life. Six medallions depict people of especially valuable professions for that time: power engineer, musician, architect, geographer, artist, and agronomist. The rest depicts various patterns and stars.
