A Book Review Of “Your Third And Final Wish” by Ciaran Healy

Every so often you come across an obscure book that no one is talking about. Rarer than that, the book is filled with ideas no one talks about. Once in a blue moon, those ideas are worth bringing to light.

That’s the case with Ciaran Healy’s latest book, Your Third And Final Wish. It’s also the case for the author himself.

Before we get to what’s interesting about the book, let’s take a gander through who the hell Ciaran Healy is, and some of the other interesting things he’s done over the years.

My first encounter with the philosopher Ciaran Healy was on a forum he started over a decade ago; Ruthless Truth (now removed). He came across as angry, bitter, and full of fury. He raged against everyone and everything, slinging profanity around like it was candy at Halloween.

His rage had a purpose, though. There was method to the madness.

He wanted you to look. Not glance or peek, but really look. One minute of honest to God inspection of a single premise: You do not exist.

More precisely, whether there was anyone home at all. Is there a “you” there? Who types on the computer? Who is the thinker of thoughts? The speaker of words?
