There have been numerous studies where that have linked to isolation making it more difficult to handle stressful situations, they are more likely to be depressed and even struggle with decision-making capabilities. Studies show that isolation can even kill you and lead to premature death.

God created us to be in community with him because of his deep desire for community. The same is for humans. Each one of us feels it in our bones. The deepest part of our souls long to be known by someone and to live this life in a village not on an island, isolated and alone.

We find Jesus on His way to heal Jarius’ daughter when something unexpected happened. This woman who touched him was just another person in the crowd. Or one might think. We might just think that Jesus is just doing Jesus things per usual.
